~Bob Franey~

Bob Franey was born on April 3rd 1961, after holding out for 2 days so that he wouldn’t be an April fool’s baby; that might not have been long enough. After traveling around the country he settled down in Texas for 11 years, where he took to writing for a small tabloid, an adventure that lasted around one year. None-the-less, he still carries the passion to write. He now lives in Galesburg, Illinois with his wife, 2 daughters, 1 female cat, 2 female gerbils and two fish tanks probably filled with female fish. Trying to maintain his sanity in a household of estrogen, he escapes by writing. Bob has been involved with the Spoon River Creative Writers for over a year, which has helped his latest venture, writing a science fiction novel, The Spiders Fence, the first in a trilogy. It has been said Bob has a twist on the way he looks at life and it shows in his style.
