Ted Williamson was born and raised in Central Illinois and has tried to escape several times, but always comes back because he knows where to forage in this area. He attended classes at Western Illinois University, but decided he didn't understand annuities and mutual funds, which eliminated the need for a degree. He spent twenty years in the International Harvester Company plant in Canton before management discovered him and closed the plant. Ted then worked for the State of Illinois repairing radios and generating huge volumes of impressive paperwork. He has retired and his chief responsibility is moving the houseplants indoors in the spring, and outdoors in the fall - if The Supervisor doesn't stop him.
